The day has passed and it seems all of our eyes are on what happened in Las Vegas, during the massacre, yesterday October 1st, 2017, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
The event took place at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival, where over 22,000 attended. Our hearts go out to those affected and we are covering this event, because we are tired of the media sugarcoating the facts from this act of terror.
Now, this was an act of terror and why the media keeps calling the terrorist a “lone wolf” is baffling beyond all measure. We would like to point out what some of these articles got wrong, when trying to proclaim themselves as a factually based source.
STOP USING SOFT DESCRIPTION WORDS TO DESCRIBE HIM
This man is a terrorist, not a granddad. We don’t care if he was loving and went to their soccer games. He murdered and injured a mass amount of people. He is a terrorist! He struck terror during a time when festival-goers wanted to enjoy their Country music and beer. Don’t soften up his act or the way to describe him. His actions should be more than enough to describe him.
We Are interested in the Lives Lost, Not the Money
If you want relevance on the event for your site, then post the relevant facts. We do not care how much this billionaire lost from this tragic day. He and his affiliates will still go home to their warm beds, while families are laying their loved ones to rest.
Why are we losing this sense of compassion during these times? Why would you even allow yourself to think this post would be a great idea on the day of tragedy? We don’t even have an opportunity to recover first.
Almost Every News Source Had Terrible Facts
Fake news somehow made its way to Facebook? Are we even shocked?? Everyone, please check your news sources to make sure they are credible. This is a must during events like this in America or anywhere in the world.
Let’s Stop Saying He Didn’t Seem Mentally Ill
This man planned every act of his terror. He asked which hotel room had the view of the concert, found at least 16 weapons, believed to be mostly high-powered rifles, some equipped with scopes. None of these purchases raised red flags to the merchants? Again, are we surprised?
In this time of the largest gun terror in America right now, we must be reminded to stick together. We need to come as one.
If you are in a position to donate blood, please do so. If you are in a position to provide snacks and water, please do so.
Spread positive and encouraging words on your social media. These are everyday citizens and human beings who deserve love from us right now! We are united during these days of tragedy.
