We see our twenties as this wild ride of parties, emotions, and clubbing. We leave college with our dreams and plans to achieve those dreams. We never planned for the fails, though. We did not see the getting a basic 9-5 job or retail job right after to pay the bills.

Why? Is this because every overdone movie or show has a cast of 20-year-olds living the golden life and their only dilemma is which party to attend next? Well, here it is. Your 20’s are going to shake you to the core and make you feel like nothing is going to be right.

But here is some key advice, just smell the roses. None of these obstacles will make sense and it will bring tears. You have to learn to pick yourself up and grab a glass of wine and relax. You will be where you need to be with hard work, a go-getter attitude, and a strong support system. Enjoy the small moments and small accomplishments. We won’t have these years back and it’s okay to let loose. Adulthood isn’t a tv book or a movie. It’s reality. We can’t pay rent sometimes, we have to eat noodles, or we stress about if we’re doing it right. It’s all a part of life. Just enjoy the youthful and ambitious parts of your life.
